During an interview Ricky said the twins say, "pa pa pa" and "ma ma ma".�� They're not identifying that sound with a person yet. They also say "ma-ma-ma", he replies "ma-ma-ma más besos" (more kisses) or "ma-ma-ma más carino" (more affection).

Ricky Martin is supposed to visit Brazil in the next months, and as he said before, just because he doesn't want to part from his sons, the twins could travel with him..The reason of the visit is a meeting with the musician of Bahia Carlinhos Brown.The two artists will give the last touches to two songs that Ricky will includin his new album.A source confirmed to the magazine "Star" that Ricky is planning a travel to Brazil and that at the same time he will be in Argentina for a very important commitment.�
(There is a rumour that this "commitment" could be an interview on the Cristina show and he will have the twins with him too) - I do hope this is true

O cantor Ricky Martin pretende visitar o Brasil nos próximos meses, e como disse anteriormente que não pretende se afastar dos filhos, o cantor pode vir acompanhado dos filhos gêmeos Mateo e Valentino.
O motivo da visita é uma reunião com o músico baiano Carlinhos Brown. Os dois apaixonados por música pretendem se reunir, em Salvador, para ajustar detalhes de dois temas que Rick deseja incluir em seu novo disco.
Uma fonte confirmou à revista "Star" que Ricky planeja viajar para o Brasil e que também terá um compromisso importante na Argentina.

Ricky Martin documentary to air on V-me

The U.S. Spanish-language network V-me said it plans to air a documentary featuring Ricky Martin and Maria Hinojosa addressing the issue of human trafficking.
The 30-minute film, "Vivir en Libertad: Lucha Contra la Trata de Personas," is slated for broadcast July 10.
The documentary is a co-production between the Inter-American Development Bank and the Ricky Martin Foundation. It is narrated by Hinojosa, V-me's award-winning journalist and host of "La Plaza."
In a special introduction, pop star Martin discusses the complexities of this modern form of slavery. Covering the multi-layered issues of prevention, protection and prosecution of human trafficking, the documentary was made in response to the widely successful Call and Live, the first regional campaign against human trafficking in the Americas, V-me said in a news release.

Ricky Martin records a documentary in Loíza
Ricky Martin was in the neighborhood of Colobos this afternoon in Loíza to record scenes for a documentary for German TV channel RTL, whose donation to the foundation of the Puerto Rican artist will build a center for education in the municipality.
The Puerto Rican singer filmed scenes at the home of Vivian Cirino, where he arrived after having visited the Barrio Tocones in early hours of Saturday.
Secondary level and high school, which will be built on the road 188, Loíza, is free and aims to provide individual support to children and youth at risk, both in academia and in other disciplines such as arts, sports and spirituality. The initial enrollment
will be between 150 and 200 students and is expected to generate some 40 to 50 jobs.

Ricky Martin confesó a un diario boricua, que además de trabajar en un documental sobre su labor filantrópica y la apertura de un centro de educación en Puerto Rico, también está ya en plena producción de su nueva producción discográfica que podría salir a la venta en noviembre de este año.
"Estoy encerrado en el estudio y ya existe esa influencia afroantillana, que no es la primera vez que juego con ella, pero una vez más será parte de mi repertorio. Es un disco en español, es un disco en inglés; es un disco internacional", aseguró el astro que también aseguró que ha trabajado con varios compositores y productores en este disco.
Por otro lado, el intérprete de Tu recuerdo, comentó que su regreso a los escenarios podría darse a mediados del 2010, y que por supuesto, sus gemelos lo acompañarán en el recorrido.
Asimismo, Ricky mencionó que todavía no ha escrito una canción para sus retoños, pero no descarta que esto ocurra antes de octubre.
El artista, orgulloso confesó también que los pequeños ya le dicen "pa, pa, pa, pa", a sus escasos diez meses de edad.

Juan Luis Guerra participará la próxima semana con el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) en una campaña mediática de lucha contra la pobreza de la que también formarán parte Juanes y Ricky Martin.
El BID dijo que la actividad, con el lema ''Yo amo América'', se hará en su sede central de Washington el miércoles 24.
La campaña es una iniciativa de promoción y mercadeo encabezada por artistas como agentes de cambio en áreas estratégicas, dirigida a reducir la pobreza y promover el desarrollo latinoamericano, se informó.
Martin y Juanes también serían ''portavoces'' de la campaña.
El astro puertorriqueño se encargará de crear conciencia sobre la ''necesidad deestablecer políticas e inversiones'' en el registro de personas al nacer y desarrollo de la temprana infancia; el colombiano en el acceso a los servicios financieros.
Guerra será el portavoz de las microfinanzas y le tocará ''enfatizar la importancia de proveer servicios financieros a los pobres'', dijo el BID.
En el lanzamiento de la campaña, el artista dominicano y Luis Alberto Moreno, presidente del Banco, hablarán sobre cómo el microcrédito y otras herramientas financieras básicas pueden contribuir a mejorar los ingresos de las familias pobres y sus niveles de vida.

Juan Luis Guerra participará la próxima semana con el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) en una campaña mediática de lucha contra la pobreza de la que también formarán parte Juanes y Ricky Martin.
El BID dijo que la actividad, con el lema ''Yo amo América'', se hará en su sede central de Washington el miércoles 24.
La campaña es una iniciativa de promoción y mercadeo encabezada por artistas como agentes de cambio en áreas estratégicas, dirigida a reducir la pobreza y promover el desarrollo latinoamericano, se informó.
Martin y Juanes también serían ''portavoces'' de la campaña.
El astro puertorriqueño se encargará de crear conciencia sobre la ''necesidad deestablecer políticas e inversiones'' en el registro de personas al nacer y desarrollo de la temprana infancia; el colombiano en el acceso a los servicios financieros.
Guerra será el portavoz de las microfinanzas y le tocará ''enfatizar la importancia de proveer servicios financieros a los pobres'', dijo el BID.
En el lanzamiento de la campaña, el artista dominicano y Luis Alberto Moreno, presidente del Banco, hablarán sobre cómo el microcrédito y otras herramientas financieras básicas pueden contribuir a mejorar los ingresos de las familias pobres y sus niveles de vida.
